Bristol Bakery has produced a wide variety of consumer packaged goods in the cookie, crisp, cracker and inclusion categories. We work closely with our customers to bring their concepts through scale up to full scale manufacturing without compromising on the targeted taste, texture, look and pack out.
Our production facility utilizes a versatile double-sigma mixer in our batch room and multiple dough depositors for cookies or sheet goods in our make up room. We also employ a variety of automatic toppers when spices, salt, chocolate chips, etc, need to be applied prior to baking. We've chosen rack ovens over tunnel ovens for a more artisan style finish to our products. For a more efficient throughput rate, we utilize a cooling tunnel to bring the finished product to the elevators that feed the packaging machines.
Our packaging capabilities include pre-made, pre-printed, gusseted, resealable pouches, as well as pillow pouches for "bag in a box" configuration.
Our range of pack sizes run between 2oz and 6oz fills. Daily production rates range between 5,000-6,000 pounds of raw product per shift, for a single SKU. Depending on moisture loss and fill size, we average between 12,000-16,000 unit packs per shift.
